100th Day of School

Today we celebrated our 100th day of grade 2! We played Snakes and Ladders to 100 and made some fun glasses to celebrate. There are lots of fun activities you can do at home to keep learning about the number 100 and to celebrate further at home. Check out the Google classroom for some ideas.

Museum School - Day 1 Canadian Landscapes   We had a great first day at virtual Museum School. On our virtual tour, Jennie, our museum guide gave us a close up look at some of the beautiful paintings in the Canadian Landscape gallery.  Jennie then asked us to "step inside" one of the paintings and to use our senses to write a letter telling a family member what it was like to be on the beautiful landscape we had chosen.  During the afternoon we used pastels to create our own Canadian landscape art.
