Celebration of Learning

We will be having our first virtual celebration of learning on the evening of Wednesday, November 25. We are really looking forward to being able to celebrate some of the amazing work we have done in grade 2 so far this year!


Please set aside about 45 minutes on Wednesday evening to participate in this activity. 
On Wednesday, your child will come home with some work to share with you. Please complete the following steps to participate in this celebration:
  1. Log onto the Google Classroom
  2. Go to the Classwork section and click on the Celebration of Learning material.
  3. Watch the introductory video that will be attached at the bottom.
  4. Follow the steps to help guide you with this work.
Please return your child's work to school on Thursday morning as they will need these items for our learning.

Your child is so excited to celebrate with you. We hope you enjoy this sharing time with your child.

Museum School - Day 1 Canadian Landscapes   We had a great first day at virtual Museum School. On our virtual tour, Jennie, our museum guide gave us a close up look at some of the beautiful paintings in the Canadian Landscape gallery.  Jennie then asked us to "step inside" one of the paintings and to use our senses to write a letter telling a family member what it was like to be on the beautiful landscape we had chosen.  During the afternoon we used pastels to create our own Canadian landscape art.
