Wow, we had a beautiful day for a walk to Two Toed Pond last Thursday! The children had a fantastic time using the nets to do a pond dip. We caught so many bugs and the children were excited to use their identification charts to identify what bugs they caught.  Some of the bugs we caught and identified include- back swimmers, boatmen, damselfly larva and fresh water shrimp.

Museum School - Day 1 Canadian Landscapes   We had a great first day at virtual Museum School. On our virtual tour, Jennie, our museum guide gave us a close up look at some of the beautiful paintings in the Canadian Landscape gallery.  Jennie then asked us to "step inside" one of the paintings and to use our senses to write a letter telling a family member what it was like to be on the beautiful landscape we had chosen.  During the afternoon we used pastels to create our own Canadian landscape art.
