We had a beautiful morning for a walk to the coulee today. While the air was a little "crisp" it didn't bother us as we stayed warm moving about. We spent some time hiking, sketching, and playing a game of Camouflage. We also had fun singing some songs with our Blackfoot Elder, Saa'kokoto and Mrs. White. When we returned to school we listened to a few of Saa'kokoto's tales: How The Bear Got A Short Tail and How The Chipmunk Got It's Stripes. We then made some puppets to help us retell one of the stories. Students are bringing their puppets home to retell their chosen story to you. Enjoy :-)
